Yes, January 20 was a good day in America.
Only time will tell whether it was a good day for America.
For the sake of our country, I hope so.

Yep, I had to go to class with tear-stained cheeks and a dopey grin on my face. I swear everyone was glowing that day, like just for one day, the petty little things didn't matter.

Until I heard the news about our fine mayor in Portland. But the day was awesome until then. :)

I cried for a full week when he was elected, and since the inauguration I've shed a good deal of tears.

tears of joy and hope.

I had tears streaming down my face while I watched President Obama take the oath. Like Margie, it was like a heavy weight was lifted from my back and the air was crisp and clean again.

I cry when I realize how blessed I am.

Watching President Obama take his oath of office I was reminded of one thought: fresh air.

Pure. Simple. Free.
